Veterans Day Greetings
These Veterans Day greetings are a kind to pay tribute to the military on Memorial Day which falls on the fourth of July. Often the dates are considered as a part of the three-day weekend. Rather much reorganization is given to the fact that without the sacrifice of those who served the nation and are still continuing the Americans would never be able to celebrate the freedom and enjoy the benefits of this three-day weekend. It’s also called Armistice Day as the armistice was the agreement between the US and Germany.
They agreed to end the First World War on the eleventh day of November 1918. In 1926 a resolution was submitted by the American congress. This stated request to reconsider the Armistice Day to be changed to November 11. The congress also asked for the holding of an official ceremony on that significant event. Now it’s in 1938 when the thirteenth day of Mary, November 11 became the official day for the armistice holiday.
